Last updated: 2026-05-14

Draft — pending legal review. This document is the reference shape of Mira's user agreement. Material clauses (liability limits, dispute resolution, IP, subscription terms) should be reviewed by Spanish counsel before relying on them. Contact support@unvale.so for any question.

Publisher / Editor

These terms of use are published by UnVale [legal form TBD — to be filled with the formal corporate entity name once registered] in respect of the Mira product. UnVale's portfolio includes Mira (this product), Oleumi (olive oil platform), Remixed/thepista (football management), MoonView (trading), and PolyView (prediction markets). By using Mira you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating a Mira account or otherwise using the service, you accept these terms. If you do not accept, do not use Mira. We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated via in-app message before they take effect.

2. Service description

Mira is an informational reference tool. It scans medications, skincare, and cosmetics; surfaces ingredient information; and flags potential interactions between items in your medicine cabinet and your beauty cabinet (the "cross-mode" feature).

Mira is not a medical device. Information Mira surfaces is reference material and does not replace professional medical, pharmacological, or dermatological advice. Do not start, stop, or change any medication or treatment based on Mira alerts alone. Always consult a qualified pharmacist or clinician.

If Mira flags an interaction or recall on a product you use, the recommended action is to discuss with your pharmacist or doctor — not to act unilaterally.

3. Account responsibility

You must be at least 14 years old to create a Mira account (per Spain's LOPDGDD art. 7). You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password confidential.

If a parent or legal guardian creates an account managing a minor's information via Family Sharing, the adult bears the same responsibility for the minor's data.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to:

5. Subscriptions

Mira offers optional paid tiers (Pro, Family) through Apple's App Store in-app purchase. Subscription terms:

If you redeem a Mira referral code, your friend who shared the code may receive a benefit per Mira's then-current referral programme rules (see Profile → Invite a friend within the app).

6. Your data

Your use of Mira is governed by the Privacy Policy at unvale.so/privacy, which is incorporated by reference. The Privacy Policy explains:

You may export your data at any time (Profile → Privacy & data → "Export my data") or delete your account (Profile → "Delete my account").

7. Mira's intellectual property

Mira's application code, design, branding, and curated content (interaction rules, ingredient flagging) are the property of UnVale and protected by intellectual property law. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Mira for your personal purposes per these terms.

You may not:

Third-party data Mira presents (CIMA medication entries, CosIng ingredients, regulator recall alerts) is owned by its respective sources; Mira presents it under the licenses listed in Mira's data-source registry.

8. Disclaimers

Mira is provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We make commercial efforts to keep Mira accurate and current but make no representation or warranty about completeness or accuracy, especially:

You should not rely on Mira as the sole basis for any medical, pharmacological, or dermatological decision. Always confirm with a qualified professional.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Spanish law (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007 + supplementary EU law), UnVale's total liability arising from your use of Mira is limited to the amount you paid for Mira in the 12 months preceding the claim (or zero if you have not paid for the service).

UnVale is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — even if UnVale has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Spanish or EU law, including liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or death/personal injury caused by UnVale's negligence.

10. Service availability

Mira is provided on a best-efforts basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability — the service may be unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, or due to third-party outages (Apple, our hosting provider, regulatory data sources).

We may suspend or discontinue features at any time. Material reductions in functionality will be communicated via in-app message at least 30 days in advance where feasible.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes will be resolved in the Spanish courts having jurisdiction over the user's place of residence (per EU consumer-protection rules), or in the Madrid courts if no other competent court applies.

EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service changes materially (new features, new processors, scope expansions). Material changes will be communicated via in-app message before they take effect. Continued use of Mira after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
